By the end of the course, you will:
• Understand the concept of bilingualism
• Have awareness of the historical and contemporary role of the Welsh
language, along with its legal status
• Have analysed why working through the medium of Welsh is
advantageous, and sometimes essential
• Have gained a better understanding of how to operate bilingually
• Understand the linguistic obligations of funding and grants
• Know which organisations are available to help you with the Welsh
language, and how to get in touch with them
