All Wales Basic Safeguarding Awareness Training

What safeguarding means?
The signs to look for?
What harm or neglect look like?
How and who to report concerns to?

This short awareness session focuses on what you need to know to carry out your volunteer role.

Join us for this informal and introductory course which raises awareness of what everybody needs to know about safeguarding. It is specifically targeted at voluntary and community groups and is suitable for those with little or no knowledge of safeguarding in the wider sense.

When: Wednesday 14th March 2018, 9.30am to 12.30pm

The session will equip you with the basic principles and where to go if you need more information or specialist training. Please note, the session is being repeated several times over the next six months to enable people find a session that will match their availability. Please see the attached poster for details.
