WREN is a not-for–profit business that awards grants to community and environmental projects located within 10 miles of a WRG landfill site.

WREN Small Grants Scheme
£2,000 – £15,000
This is designed to assist on smaller projects that can really make a difference; the total value of the project must be no more than £50,000.

WREN Main Grant Programme
£15,001 and £50,000 is available for the provision, maintenance or improvement of a public park or other public amenity in the vicinity of a landfill site.

All WREN applications are reviewed by local volunteer Advisory Panels who know the needs and requirements of your area and have regional knowledge.
All projects must be located within WREN operating areas and be available to the general public – please refer to our website for guidance or contact staff WREN for advice.
