Adverse Childhood Experiences Awareness Training

Join us at this training session on 10 March,  organised in response to a request made at the recent  Health & Wellbeing Network meeting.

The training session will take place in the morning and then after a short break for lunch, there will be a screening of the film “Resilience: the biology of stress and the science of hope”.    The one-hour documentary explores the science

behind how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can affect brain development and lead to

lifelong health and social problems but importantly gives a solution to the problem.

Lunch of soup and bread is kindly being provided by Sit & Stew.   To help with the catering logistics, please indicate on the booking form if you will be partaking in this.

The session is free of charge.  However, there will be a £20 cancellation fee if you cancel your place less than 3 days before the event.   Non-attendance counts as cancellation.
