Sense UK are there for every person living with complex difficulties that can make it a challenge to communicate, access information and take part in life. They are in need of Retail Volunteers for the reopening of their Llandudno based Charity Shop. The success of their Sense Shops is down to people like you – volunteers who come together to share a huge range of interests, backgrounds, skills and passions. Putting those talents into action, their shop teams take roles which suit their interests and experience and together make a big difference to the people they support. Together, you can make sure that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.
The Welsh Mountain Zoo, Colwyn Bay, is the oldest zoo in Wales and aims for a world where animals and their habitats are appreciated, understood and conserved. They are delighted to be reopening on the 13th July after being closed due to coronavirus since 22nd March. They have opened with new social distancing guidelines to ensure a safe day out for their visitors. They are looking for Volunteer Guides to help their visitors maintain social distancing as they travel around the zoo. Activities will include directing through one-way systems, answering visitor FAQs and generally providing a warm and welcoming reception to the zoo.
