Idlewild Animal Sanctuary is a charity that provides care to a variety of animals providing Rescue, Rehabilitation, Release and Rehoming. They provide a safe haven for abandoned and unwanted animals at their Sanctuary in the Conwy Valley and are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about the welfare and care of animals to become Animal Care and Support Volunteers to assist with the daily routines and enrichment/wellbeing of all the animals in their care. If you love being outdoors in all weathers, love connecting with nature and a wide variety of animals, and want to gain experience in supporting, caring for and the rehabilitation of animals, please get in touch. This opportunity supports health and wellbeing through engaging with nature and the therapeutic role of animals. You will be helping with all types of animal care and giving out lots of animal cuddles. Volunteers must be 16 and over. Due to the rural location of the Sanctuary, own transport is desirable.
