Vale Vineyard

In 2021 the Valley Vineyard received £15,482.10 towards making improvements for visitors on site.

The completion of the building work to the derelict barn and visitor facilities has now anabled the business to start welcoming guests for wine tasting sessions and events.

Once vineyard tours start in 2023, an assistant will be recruited to work during peak times in the vineyard and to take some of the tours as they expect high demand for these experiences.

Since the launch of their first wine they have developed the website where you can order bottles of wine as well as book tours around the vineyard. Some have already been attending and the newly renovated building is great for wine tasting sessions

Community volunteers from the surrounding area have joined them and have been helping them with the harvest.

"This support from the Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm Fund has ensured the completion of the heritage building work to the dilapidated barn and visitor facilities which is now welcoming guests and playing a vital role in the business model going forward."
