You will be aware that we are in the process of transitioning from ICF and Transformation Fund into a new Regional Integrated Funding (RIF). Conwy and Denbighshire has been allocated £7.4m.

The Area ISB has already approved the continuation existing projects to roll forward under RIF, pending further review over the coming months. Outline draft Project Proposal forms have been completed for these and form part of our current draft programme.

There is however a significant amount of funding not yet allocated and there is opportunity to invest and enable further resourcing of our integrated services in the community.

PROCESS TO APPLY FOR RIF FUNDING

The process on how and when to submit proposals for new projects, or expansion of existing project, is detailed in the attached process. For ease of reference this is briefly summarised below:

Proposals must be made on the attached Project Investment Proposal Template. All activities funded by RIF must directly support the development and delivery of the six models of care per the ‘Health and Social Care Regional Integration Fund Guidance 2022-23’, as well as the key priority areas identified by Centre Area ISB.  There must be sufficient information in terms of scope, alignment to priority and amount being sought as well as how you will match fund (pages 30-32 in Guidance), to enable AISB to make an informed decision.

TIMELINES

The first draft of this needs to be emailed to Llewelyn Davies at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by the 13th May.  New and amended proposals will be considered by AISB on 24th May and a decision made on whether to support or not.  Supported drafts will be shared with the Regional Collaboration Team on 25th May.  You will have until early June to finalise and fully cost project proposals, and final documents are to be submitted to Llewelyn by 10th June.

Full dates are set out in the attached RIF Timeline for Project Proposals and embedded within the process document.  Any questions, please contact Llewelyn on email or Teams.
