Conwy Pirate Festival 2025
Conwy Pirate Festival 2025
The Gwynt y Môr Community Fund awarded £10,000 in 2025 to support the Conwy Pirate Festival. The event hosted a community celebration of Conwy town’s historical and maritime legacy, including pirate themed games, pirate-themed stalls, musical acts, and a real life pirate battle!
A representative from Conwy Pirate Festival said:
"Within the Pirate Community across the UK, Conwy Pirate Festival is known as the best for families and fun. For us that is a big achievement, there isn’t another Pirate Festival like it in the whole of the UK. What we have that no-one else has, is the setting of the Quay with the backdrop of the castle, the pirate battle with the ship, and the games…we love being able to share our event with others, and although it is the most physically hard work event we do, we do it for the smiles on the faces of children and adults who attend. For Conwy, it is one of the largest and only events that take place in the town. People come from all over the world to attend it, they enjoy it, and then they come back and bring their friends".
