Join us for a FREE training session about how to manage your organisation’s finances. This session is designed for finance volunteers (such as treasurers) and staff from voluntary organisations and aims to help you:

  • Understand what a budget is and how to develop one
  • Learn to use budgets to support funding requests
  • Be able to understand, plan and develop cash flow forecasts
  • Understand what management accounts are and why they are useful
  • Learn how to make better financial decisions for the organisation
  • Learn how to monitor resources

There is no prior knowledge required. 

This session is perfect for groups applying for funding, as we will cover how to manage restricted funds, tackling multiple budgets and funding streams, and budgeting for overheads and rising costs. The session will also cover the responsibilities of trustees in managing finances.

Lunch will be provided.
