This is a rare opportunity to take on a high-impact, cross-sector leadership role at the heart of health and social care transformation across Conwy and Denbighshire. Community and Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC) is delighted to be hosting this role in partnership with BCUHB and both local authorities.

We are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking leader who is ready to move beyond operational delivery and shape how services work together across organisations—influencing strategy, redesigning systems, and improving outcomes for communities.

As CRT Development Lead, you’ll work across local government, health services, and partners in the voluntary and independent sectors to create truly integrated, person-centred services.

About the role

This is not a traditional management role. You won’t just oversee services—you will:

· Lead system-wide change across five Community Resource Teams

· Influence senior leaders across multiple organisations

· Design and deliver innovative models of integrated care

· Act as the critical link between strategy and frontline delivery

· Drive a whole-system approach focused on people and communities

You’ll be working in a complex, dynamic environment where no two days are the same—bringing together different organisations, perspectives and priorities into a shared vision for better care.

Why this role stands out

Cross-sector influence

You’ll work across health, social care, local government, and the third sector—building partnerships and shaping how services operate together.

A genuine stepping stone to senior leadership

This is a strategic-level role with direct exposure to senior decision-makers, giving you the opportunity to:

· Influence policy and direction

· Lead transformation programmes

· Build leadership credibility across organisations

Innovation at scale

You’ll have the freedom to challenge existing systems, test new approaches, and embed modern, evidence-based models of care.

Purpose-driven impact

Everything you do will directly contribute to improving health, wellbeing, and independence for people across local communities.

What you’ll be doing

· Leading the development and implementation of integrated care models

· Driving change, innovation and continuous improvement across services

· Facilitating collaboration between senior leaders, frontline teams, and partners

· Leading complex projects, from concept to delivery and evaluation

· Using data and insight to shape decisions and demonstrate impact

· Developing business cases, securing funding, and maximising resources

· Engaging widely—from clinicians and social care teams to elected members and the public

Who we’re looking for

You might already be working in health, social care, local government, or a related sector—and looking for your first major strategic leadership move.

We’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:

· Experience of leading change, transformation, or complex projects

· Strong understanding of health and/or social care systems

· The ability to influence, inspire and bring others with you

· Confidence working across organisational and professional boundaries

· A passion for improving outcomes for people and communities

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences

· A solutions-focused, innovative mindset

Project or programme management experience (e.g. PRINCE2 or equivalent) is beneficial—but your ability to lead through complexity and deliver results is what matters most.

What you’ll gain

· A high-profile, strategic role with real visibility

· Opportunities to work closely with senior leaders across sectors

· Experience of delivering large-scale transformation

· The chance to shape future models of integrated care

· A supportive environment that encourages innovation and leadership growth
