Winter Fuel Support Scheme

Working-age Welsh households on universal credit or certain other Welfare Benefits will be offered a £100 one-off payment this winter to help with fuel bills. Applicants will also need to be the fuel bill payer at the property.

Bay of Colwyn Town Council Youth Grants

The Bay of Colwyn Town Council has committed £5,000 to support projects for young people living in the Town Council’s area (Rhos on Sea, Colwyn Bay, Upper Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn).  

Community Ownership Fund

Community Ownership Fund launched

UK Government has published the prospectus for the Community Ownership Fund. Under the fund, matched capital grants of up to £250,000 will be available to support voluntary organisations to purchase and protect local assets at risk of loss without community intervention. In exceptional cases, up to £1million matched capital grants will be available for some sporting facilities.

Mind Our Future is a £10 million grant programme to put young people in the lead so that they can imagine and create a more resilient and mentally healthy future for young people in Wales.

Winter Pressures Fund

The Winter Pressures Grant Fund will aim to directly fund local activity that can help to alleviate pressures, create additional capacity/activity, or extend existing activity where other funds are running out.


The Conwy Valley & North West Wales Coast Community Railway Partnership Fund is administered by CVSC on behalf of Creating Enterprise and Transport For  Wales.

Grants of up to £250.00 are available to support Third Sector groups within a 5mile/8km radius of a station on the  Conwy Valley or North West Wales Trainline.
